One of three in a series. I was on the Isle of Skye in Scotland in a Dark Skies area in May 2024 when there was a strong aurora event that seemed to reach all corners of the world. I had seen the aurora before in Iceland, but never like the night on Skye. I spent several hours racing around the grounds of the cottage we were staying at taking a ton of photos of the ever-changing sky. This series of paintings was inspired by that night.
