Monet’s Small Bridge is an 8" x 10" original oil painting inspired by a lesser-known corner of Claude Monet's Garden in Giverny rather than the iconic Japanese-style bridge.
This painting was developed from studies I created on location in the gardens. Painted from memory and reference, it captures the softness of a muted, overcast day and the way the diffused light deepened the lush foliage and flowers throughout the garden, as well as the distinct Monet green of the bridge.
Framed in a beautiful espresso-colored wood with gold inlay to accentuate the painting, the outer dimensions with the frame are 14” x 16”.
